There are few things you will take more personally than building your own home. You plan to live there, of course, but there's more to it than that. There is no greater aspiration for Brad and Shelley Hoedel than to provide the best place to live for other people's families. For the past 14 years, they have owned and operated Executive Builders, one of the premier home builders in Central Alberta.

Executive has Show Homes open, demonstrating not only their expanded inventory of lots and plans, but also their broader range in the market. They are currently building starter homes in several areas in Central Alberta. They not only build large homes, Executive builds to accommodate the size of a home their customer wants.

But always to that Executive standard. "People want service," says Brad. "They want quality. It doesn't matter if it's a starter home. They just want a good product." We don't cut corners in any areas. Our goal is to give our customers the best quality at every level."

"We keep up with new designs," says Shelley. "Something new all the time!! If you looked at the last show home, or the show home before that, each one has its own style. We're not carrying things over. We're always trying new ideas and giving people new things."

The tried, tested and true play a large part in Executive's overall method, as well. "More than half of the trades we work with have been with us from the very beginning," says Brad. They have a level of comfort with their trades, partly because of their long relationship with so many of them, but also because of their similar approach to their businesses.

And for Brad and Shelley, it's knowing those customers have that level of personal pride in their home that tells them they're on the right track.
